The Diploma in Electrical Engg. was introduced in the year 1959 with the sanctioned intake of 20 candidates. This department has produced around 1200 diploma students till date. Before 1986, 3 years diploma was awarded by Haryana Technical Board and there after it is being awarded by H. Takniki Shiksha Board, Dharmshala.
