The department of Applied Sciences aims to provide a strong foundation for the students in the basic sciences. The diploma in Architecture Assistantship was introduced in the year 1981 with the sanctioned intake of 15 candidates. Now intake has been increased to 30 candidates. 585 students has completed diploma in Arch. Prior to 1986, 3 years diploma was being awarded by Haryana Technical Board and there after it is being awarded by H. Takniki Shiksha Board, Dharmshala.
